Love is in the Hair

The month of Love has brought some fun for The Lewis Family Hair Styles!

We Tried some heart hair-do's for Madelyn's Valentines parties. They were time consuming and a little rough around the edges, but not too hard to do. All in all a big hit!

Ellie's self feeding ceral experience led to a milk bath for her curly locks!

Ben had some shaving fun. We called him Bubba and Dirk all night. I tried to convince him to wear his facial mullet to work, but he said it itched too bad. Oh well at least we had it for the night.

On an impulse I decided to cut my hair at... gasp.. Cost Cutters. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it is growing on me. I was expecting it to be more angled in the front, because that's what I told her to do. Not quiet prepared for it to be so short in the front. Oh well it was $20 bucks (tip included)! (keep in mind these pics were at the end of the day)

I am a such a tight wad when it comes to haircuts. My last cut: I had a 5 dollar coupon for Great Clips. Then I left a 2 dollar tip. (Of course my hair, unlike yours, generally LOOKS like a cheap haircut! Yours looks great!)

M's hair could not be any cuter! I love it! Your hair looks adorable! 3 cheers for cheaps haircuts! What makes the facial mullet even more hilarious is the wife beater he is wearing!!!

Cute hair, on both you and your girls.

Holy cow! How did you accomplish that heart? I love how you say it like it is no big deal and I feel like a tremendous success for putting a headband on my daughter. Color me intimidated. And your hair could not be cuter. I was a Pro-cuts girl until my friends recently shamed me into ditching Leticia and going elsewhere. Part of me misses Leti. . .

I love your hair! Especially the back! And it will grow out in the front and you can get it more angled later.

I also love the girls hair!
I love how you did the ribbons and things!

Oh how I wish for a little girl someday so I can play with her hair!
I was never really into playing with mine though...I never did teach myself how to french braid my own hair, and my idea of doing my hair consisted of throwing it up into a sloppy pony-tail. Oh but the day will come (hopefully) where I have a beautiful little girl (or girls I hope) so that I can have fun with ribbons and bows and braids and curls!

And don't feel cheap for spending $20 on a haircut.
I take myself over to the beauty school here in Lewisville, where I subject my head to the training of a future stylist.
For $21 I can get a wash, cut and style and an eyebrow wax from an upper level student.
The lower level student prices are a little cheaper depending on the phase they are in, so that's something to think about if you want to save even more money.
The instructors are always close by to answer any questions and offer their expertise to the student, and in the almost 2 years I've been going there, I've never had a bad cut.

Cute hair cut! Isn't it funny how we are so "gasp" about cheap hair-cut places. I don't hesitate to take my son, but you don't see me going there!

Ellie, careful with the milk there missy. You might stain Claire's... oops I mean YOUR clothes :)

I actually like the hair cut. It's not near as bad as my fiasco hair experience and I paid 60 bucks for mine!

Ok, I am queen of Cost Cutters or Pro Cuts hair cuts...I will admit it to blogland, but I would of never of guessed yours was done there! It is precious! Been with you all week at work, and didn't know that! :) Love it!

I'm loving everyone's hair!! Your's is WAY cute...and from Cost Cutters? Way to go! I need a little girl so she can have cute hair. Except I don't know how to do cute girl hair. So I'd have to bring her to your house.
